Belief vs. Truth
You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension: a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You've just crossed over into... the Twilight Zone. (Rod Serling) A familiar introduction to a very popular television program. You were expected to use your imagination but you knew that it was only a tv show and wasn’t real, right? How much tv programming is real? How much to you accept as truth without question? Awakening, Awareness, Imagination. Are you really awake? Are you really aware? Do you use the power of your wonderful human imagination to create the kind of world that you want, or are you asleep? Do you rely on someone or something outside of your being to determine what you think and how you feel? What and who determines that? Are you free or have you been conditioned your whole life to accept someone else’s ideas and concepts of how to live, who you are and what to be? Do you question the so called authorities or are you programmed like a robot to do what they tell you to do? What has formed your concept of life and of who you are? Do you have a solid set of core beliefs that are without a doubt the truth? Are your beliefs the same as the truth, or is there a difference? January’s MAGNT topic is presented by Terry Lee and Patrice Loney.
Saturday MAGNT meetings are free and open to the public. No need to pre-register. Just come and be warmly included. MAGNT, the Minnesota chapter of the Association for Global New Thought, offers activities to expand consciousness. Its purpose is to inspire, inform and empower people to create an awakened world. MAGNT is supported by local Unity and Religious Science churches.
Come to learn, to ask questions, and to engage in spirited conversation with the group. We look forward to seeing you.
