MAGNT Meeting Saturday, September 12, 2009 10 AM to noon
Unity South Church 7950 First Ave. So. Bloomington, 55420
Writing for Healing Writing for Healing is a way to listen to the deepest self, to find our authentic voice, and to interpret our experience. Using simple writing techniques, Wendy Brown-Baez will guide us as we access our inner healer to gain fresh perspectives. We can learn from the past, plan for the future, and coach ourselves through a crisis. We can transform what may be painful into something profound and full of meaning through the process of writing, reading, and listening. Sharing our stories, we experience commonality, connection, and wholeness. Transformation comes from understanding both the positive and the negative aspects of our experience as we delve deeper into its significance. We gain confidence in our ability to find hope, grace and renewal. Bring a notebook and pen and discover the voice of your inner truth through a spontaneous writing exercise.
