Topic: MUSIC: the Vibrational Essence of our World

Everything in the universe is vibrating energy. Absolutely everything. And, Vibrations are most closely linked to sound and hearing. During this MAGNT gathering, we will explore and experience the vibrational nature of our physical universe, as it shows up in sound or music. We will also discuss the correlation of the chakras and their related musical notes. For example, did you know that there is a correlation between Gregorian chants and the chakras? OR, did you know your throat chakra is also known as your power center? Come to this session and learn why that is true! Especially, be prepared to have your aura massaged with music!

During our time together, we will listen to various musical forms and have a chance to experience the changes in our body. Emphasis will be given to the work of Sister Ruth Stanley, who coordinates the alternative healing program at St. Cloud Hospital. She supports patients with their healing process by having them listen to Gregorian chants. Other musical works will be discussed, including Mozart-classical, "elevator music", and grunge rock.

No music background or science knowledge is needed. Everyone welcome! Be prepared to have fun!
Laurel Anderson is a long time intense student of the divine and the science that explains it. After watching the movie, What the Bleep, 25 times, she enrolled in the Ramtha School of Enlightenment. She has a first temple degree in the Rosicrucian Order, attended Unity for 20 years and has studied Healing Touch, Shamanism, and past life regression. Her traditional background includes being director of health policy for the Minnesota Hospital Association for 12 years. It was there that she learned that 1 out of 3 hospitals in the US offer at least one form of Complementary or Alternative Medicine. That is how she learned of Sister Ruth Stanley and her work with Gregorian Chants at the St Cloud hospital.
