MAGNT Meeting Saturday, September 9, 2006 10 AM to noon
Unity South Church 7950 First Ave. So. Bloomington, 55420
Dreams: Bridges Across Realities
MAGNT's September 9 meeting topic is: Dreams: Bridges Across Realities. This meeting will be facilitated by Sheila McNellis Asato, our guest presenter. Ms. Asato is an artist and Japanese specialist in Minnesota. Her work focuses on the therapeutic and spiritual benefits of an active relationship with imagery through dreams and art. She has been a recipient of the International Association for the Study of Dreams (IASD) 2006 student award for Original Research on Dreams. http://www.asdreams.org
Dreams have long been recognized by many cultures as one major gateway to our many selves and our many truths. Please come prepared to explore a dream, or, if you prefer, a waking-time memory. Participants will have the opportunity to explore with Ms. Asato a few of the ways in which our dreams can speak to us and provide us with guidance as we negotiate the vicissitudes of our lives.
No prior experience with dream work is necessary to benefit from this process. The only prerequisite is curiosity regarding who you are, where you've been, and where you're going. Please bring a pen. Paper will be supplied.
Saturday MAGNT meetings are free and open to the public. No need to pre-register. Just come and be warmly included. MAGNT, the Minnesota chapter of the Association for Global New Thought, offers activities to expand consciousness. Its purpose is to inspire, inform and empower people to create an awakened world. MAGNT is supported by local Unity and Religious Science churches.
Come to learn, to ask questions, and to engage in spirited conversation with the group. We look forward to seeing you.
